FaxFile supports fax sending pdf and Microsoft office Word documents (.doc or .docx). It can also send as a fax images - this enables you to fax pictures from your iPhone, iPad or iTouch camera.
FaxFile supports using a fax number from an iPhone contact or typed in fax numbers for a one-off fax.
Also supports direct image capture (scan) and document transfer from a variety of applications.
FaxFile automatically and repeatedly retry faxes that dont go through initially - no additional charge and you dont need to do anything.
You will need to purchase fax credits through the app to send a fax. Fax credits are not refundable in whole or in part.
NOTE: for international faxes, check the price in the application before purchasing credits to verify that the countries you care about are supported.
If a fax fails to go through PLEASE call the number and verify that a fax machine is actually answering. This is the number one problem with failed faxes. Dont rely on "of course the fax machine is working".
Faxes of image files (photos of documents) can take quite a while to send as a fax. Allow 1-3 minutes per page to fax if you are sending a scan or image (photo) file.

As nerve-wracking as sending a fax usually is, FaxFile at least sends feedback of whether the fax went through or not. Will be making a phone call to verify the recipient received my documents, but a great easy app!

Who wants to go to a store to have to fax things? We dont even use faxing at my place of employment anymore! FaxFile is super easy to use and worth the few bucks to be able to send from my iPhone.
I needed to fax an important document late at night and didnt have access to a fax machine. This app came through: easy to use, communicates with iCloud, Box, Dropbox and GoogleDrive, if that is where your documents are stored. I was able to scan the document using TurboScan, then open it directly into this app, and faxd it pronto! Only cost me $2.99 for 50 credits, and still have 40 credits left (used 10 for one page). Hardly ever need to fax in this age of email, but when I occasionally do, I will use this app!
Unlike TinyFax, no problem sending a fax to Switzerland. Minor feature request: add recipient name for the fax header!
Simple to send a fax and easier than driving to a store and probably paying more. 50cr for 2.99 isnt bad to me.
Some bad moments
Sent fax 3 times, wouldnt send it. Just kept auto reconnecting. I paid 3 times for the same file. When you borrow credits, it converts them into Canadian so the amount shown is not the same as amount charged. This app can be a handy app but when it works. NOT RELIABLE.
Way too expensive, actually itd cost me less to buy a fax machine!! Come on guys
Tried to send 3 document but failed with response not a fax machine. Sent with regular fax machine on same number and it went through. When contacted customer support they ask to check with Recipient. Not willing to admit that its issue with their software. Already charged 30 credits for No Service. Thank you Fox, lesson learned. Highly recommend NOT to use, NOT to loose your money.
Did not work! Said the fax # isnt valid, yet ScannerPro sent it with no issues. It charged me 20 credits twice, both failing due to invalid #. Why charge if it would not send? Waste of $2.99!
Spent $9 for credits, and my fax didnt arrive. I want my $9 back!!!!
